River Bend Caravan park has much more to offer in sport and recreational facilities, catering for everybody's needs. From a social game of tennis or volleyball, bike riding, bushwalking, fishing, to a cool dip in the in-ground pool, followed by a relaxing read or snooze in the sun or under one of our many shady trees.
Swimming Pool and Recreation Room
Our in-ground pool, surrounded by grass, is a great place to cool off on a hot sunny day. All children under 12 years must be supervised by an adult at all times.
Our recreation room is well utilized with Television, table tennis and pool table. A combustion heater is a great winter attraction, to keep away those winter chills.
This room is also available for small functions.
Childrens Playground
Our playground with two trampolines and various slides and climbing equipment is great fun for the kids. We have four tennis courts and a grassed volley ball court. Plenty of open space for ball games and some excellent bike riding tracks.
Sporting Facilites
For those who are feeling energetic, a game of tennis on one of our 4 tennis courts (1 asphalt and 3 clay), a friendly game of volleyball, table tennis or pool can be a great way to spend time with friends. Bike riding, kayaking, bush walking and fishing are also popular activities at our park.
Barbeques
There are several BBQ facilities situated around the park. Choice of gas or wood-fired BBQ's, some on the river frontage, and wood is supplied for patrons use at each BBQ site. When finished cooking, BBQ plates can be lifted back and the open fires used for great ambience. There are also some pit fires for camp cooking. Patrons are asked to clean plates after use in readiness for the next guest.
Wood fired BBQ's cannot be used on TOTAL FIRE BAN days. Gas BBQ's are provided for guests use.
Kiosk
The kiosk is well equipped with essentials, such as milk, toiletries, general grocery items, drinks, ice-creams, ice and other general items. At busy times papers and fresh bread are available each day, as well as extra food items.
Note: The kiosk is also licensed to sell packaged alcohol to our guests and their visitors.
Amenity Blocks
There are 4 amenity blocks situated around the park, catering for the needs of all. Each block provides male and female toilets, showers and basin facilities. 240 volt power outlets are provided for hair dryers or electric shavers.
Laundry facilities are also available, with Maytag coin-in-slot washing machine, and clothes lines are available for drying.
Wireless Public Internet Available
Our newly installed Net-Path WiFi service gives you all the time you need online - you pay only for the data you send or recieve, and you don't lose what you haven't used!
Access accounts are only cancelled if inactive for more then "thirteen" months.
Smoking
We wish to advise our guests that all our cabins are non-smoking. This is to ensure the comfort of all guests. Non-compliance of this request will incur extra cleaning charges and/or possible eviction without refund. Cigarette butt containers and ash trays are provided in outdoor areas of the park. Please use these for disposing of your gigarette butts and not in the grass!!!
